CAD Sculpting

Very early into my career I realized the power and influence of CAD Sculpting in the product development process.  I also quickly realized the benefit of creating a high quality digital model.  I have focused primarily on NURBS modeling, specifically Autodesk Alias because it offers the greatest flexibility in form development.  It is not uncommon for me to adjust individual CVs tiny amounts to achieve a desired surface quality.  I pride myself in my ability to develop extremely high quality “class A” surfaces.

CAD models are used during many phases of the product development cycle.  We use CAD models to visualize concepts, create models to verify/refine concepts, production tooling and also to create photorealistic images for marketing.
