Chair
Creating a product from an object or material that is otherwise unrelated in every aspect is a very satisfying experience. When I first began thinking about developing a chair, I had envisioned a metal frame with the blue jeans stretched over it. After refining my original concept I began thinking about what could happen if the metal frame was eliminated from the chair. Obviously, a pair of blue jeans do not have the necessary rigidity to support themselves, and especially a person. However, with a little creativity I transformed what appears to be a regular pair of blue jeans into a form that can support a seated person.
